Campos, Neio Lúcio de Oliveira2024-02-212024-02-212014-02-13https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14135/935This work has as target to analyze the spatial expression of the relationship between educational quality and the socioeconomic profile of the population from Distrito Federal (DF) by administrative region. it must be emphasized this research is intended to contribute to the intellectual maturity of this question (relationship between educational quality and socioeconomic profiles), by the fact that present study to present unprecedented socioeconomic indicators built in level of administrative region of the Distrito Federal on these variables, for example: Índice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (IDEB), Prova Brasil, Ambiente Escolar, Distorção Idade-Série and Índice de Qualidade Educacional (IQE). Even more than the particular of geographic look at this subject, which is usually studied by economists and sociologists has been as an opportunity to fill gaps in this scope of the discussion and subsidize the government in the search for alternatives for reducing construction of socio-spatial inequalities, particularly in education. The theoretical framework for spatial analysis is the motion of the concept spatial expression supported by theory of geographical space. This notion regards the expression of the geo-cartographic referring to a set of geographic information, or spatially localizable. Methodologically, this research makes use of documentary analysis – redesignedmaterial without analytic treatment according to the interest of this research – quantitative in nature and bibliographic source, making use of geostatistical and cartographic tools.
