Cunha, Celio da2025-01-222014https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14135/1622The research focuses on the evaluation of the University for All Program (ProUni) as social inclusion policy, in its educational dimension. Uses the scores of the academic performance of the National Examination of Academic Performance (known as Enade) as a tool, to demonstrate the level of education attained by students considered low-income by the program. This is a survey of quantitative and qualitative nature that, from the Enade microdata, published by the federal government's National Institute for Educational Studies Anísio Teixeira (known as INEP) site, seeks to distinguish the ProUni scholarship students and other students, called non-scholars. For the data analysis of the research were selected only students who took the exam on condition of graduating students, at the second evaluation cycle of the National Assessment System of Higher Education (known as Sinaes). SPSS 22.0 program was used for manipulation and analysis of the Enade microdata. The results of applied Enade in editions of 2007, 2008 and 2009 evidence, allied to the Student Questionnaire show the average academic performance of ProUni beneficiaries students, allowing the comparison of them with the performance of non-scholars. The Enade, an examination of large-scale, facilitates understanding of the impact of ProUni nationally. This research used the exam as a source of data to explore the effects of the policy on low-income students in the various areas covered. Enabled the comparison of academic performance among a group of ProUni fellows and those not covered by this policy of social inclusion. Their results reveal characteristics of the two groups observed from the average performance on the test and the declaration of socioeconomic status, demonstrating that ProUni are entering into higher education students who reach the end of the graduation course in similar conditions the non-scholars.Documento textualporAcesso abertoProUni (programa)Políticas públicasAvaliação educacionalO PROUNI como política de inclusão social : uma avaliação por meio do ENADEDissertação
