Mello, Ronaldo dos Santos2024-02-222024-02-222015-08-20https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.14135/941The evaluation processes of the Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica (SAEB), conducted by the Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP), have been used as diagnostic tools, which support the development of public policies to improve the educational system. As a way of improving these evaluation instruments, and reducing inconsistencies semantic-technology verified, is proposed in this Master´s Thesis an ontology, called OntoSAEB, which aims to support the development of a common vocabulary for providing the design and review of items (questions) and dissemination of results, so they are readable and understood by machine, and aggregated the context information. Two (2) moments were fundamental in achieving this ontology: 1) when items are produced, it was guaranteed an integrated access of relationships belonging to concepts of Descriptors, Abilities and Structural Axes of Matrixes of Reference of the SAEB with the controlled vocabulary Thesaurus Brasileiro da Educação (BRASED); 2) one items are produced and are under review, we demonstrate the interoperability between concepts and/or processes/activities and from these concepts to specific individuals present in the data sources, which, in the case, are items stored in a Banco Nacional de Itens (BNI)”. This ontology is consolidated by semantic relationships for future standardization of a vocabulary. As a contribution, it is useful as a basis for consultation and development of other approaches and/or new assessment systems, given that OntoSAEB is open to the development and/or integration of new ontologies that complement its concepts and/or processes/activities of foundation.
